Volunteers will be placing food items directly into vehicles, directing traffic, handing out food pantry flyers, or helping count the number of people being served.
Contact bcarless@curehunger.org or call 765-287-8698 for help with registration and to register minors (16 yrs and older). Minors should not be registered on-line and will need a paper waiver with parent/legal guardian information/signature.
- Tailgate volunteers must be 16 yrs of age or older.
- Volunteers must wear closed toed shoes.
- Volunteers must wear a safety vest (SHFB will provide one if you don't have one).
- Typically a Tailgate last 2 hours, however, we ask volunteers to arrive 30 min. before the Tailgate starts to assist with setting up and stay 30 min. after the Tailgate ends to help with clean up.
- Please do not come if you are ill or have symptoms of an illness.
- Please dress in preparation for the weather - there are hats, gloves, and handwarmers available for those who do not have them.
