Second Harvest Food Bank

Who We Are

Founded in 1983, Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana envisions a future where every person in East Central Indiana is nourished and supported with stability and dignity. Serving eight counties, we partner with more than 200 agencies, schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to provide nutritious food and critical resources to neighbors facing hunger. Through mobile distributions, school-based initiatives, and collaborative partnerships, we work to meet immediate needs while building stronger, healthier communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

What We Do

Our mission is to provide help for today by ensuring access to food and resources, and hope for tomorrow by addressing the root causes of food insecurity and building pathways to stability and opportunity.
