Marion Public Library

The Marion Public Library & History Center is a welcoming community hub that empowers minds and enriches lives through literacy, reading, learning, discovery, and connection. We help children develop a love of books and build strong early literacy skills, support families and lifelong learners, provide access to technology and information, and preserve and celebrate the history of our community. We believe the Library is more than a place to find a book. It is a place where children discover the joy of reading, families grow together, people find opportunities, and everyone can learn, connect, and belong.

The Marion Public Library & History Center provides the resources, programs, services, and spaces that help our community read, learn, create, connect, and discover. We build strong literacy skills from early childhood through adulthood, provide access to books, information, technology, and educational resources, and offer programs that inspire lifelong learning and personal growth. We create welcoming spaces where people can gather, connect, and participate in their community, while also preserving and sharing the history and stories of Marion and Grant County. Through our collections, programs, outreach, and partnerships, we strive to meet people where they are and provide opportunities for everyone to thrive.
