The Community Cupboard was created with a simple purpose: neighbors helping neighbors. It is a place where community members can give what they can and take what they need—without judgment, questions, or barriers. We welcome donations of nonperishable food items, personal hygiene products, household essentials, kitchen supplies, and other useful everyday items. Every donation, big or small, can make a meaningful difference to someone in our community. Located in the heart of Marion near the public library, the Community Cupboard serves many individuals and families each day due to the high foot traffic in the area. With school out for the summer and many households facing rising costs, the need for support is greater than ever. We all experience difficult seasons in life. The Community Cupboard is a simple, compassionate way for us to care for one another and ensure that no one feels alone when times get tough.
